Elementum (elementum.life) is a personal-energy reading app built on the BaZi (八字 / Four Pillars) tradition of Chinese metaphysics. From your birth date, time, and place, it composes a reading of your elemental nature — for self-reflection, contemplation, and enjoyment.

Elementum offers readings grounded in a classical contemplative tradition, presented for self-reflection, insight, and entertainment. It is not medical, psychological, financial, legal, or other professional advice, and it does not predict the future. Decisions you make remain yours; for professional matters, consult a qualified professional.
An account (email/password or Google sign-in) is optional for the free experience and required for purchases, so that what you buy is tied to you and restorable on any device. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
The Founding Pass is a one-time purchase granting lifetime full access — “lifetime” meaning the lifetime of the Elementum service. It is a beta-period offer and may be withdrawn from sale (never from existing holders) at any time. Prices may change; changes never affect what you already own.
Don’t abuse, reverse-engineer, resell, or disrupt the service; don’t attempt to access other users’ data. We may suspend accounts that do.
Elementum is in active development and provided “as is.” Features may change, and availability is not guaranteed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
The short version: your birth data never leaves your device — with one opt-in exception, the AI Consultant (see below). Our server stores only your account email, what you’ve purchased, and (if you opt in) a push-notification address. We don’t sell data, run ads, or use third-party analytics.
Your birth date, time, location, and the computed chart and readings live in your browser’s local storage on your device. They are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. This also means: if you use Elementum on a new device, you re-enter your birth details there.
The AI Consultant is the one opt-in exception to “your birth data never leaves your device.” When you send the Consultant a message, that message, your recent messages in the conversation, and a summary of your chart and readings (derived from your birth details, plus your Self-Report if you completed one) are transmitted over an encrypted connection, through our server, to Anthropic, our AI model provider, solely to generate the reply. This happens only when you actively use the Consultant, and the app asks for your consent before your first message. Our server stores no conversation content — your chat history lives only on your device, and clearing your device data removes it. Under our API terms, Anthropic does not use these messages to train its models. The Consultant offers reflective guidance, not professional advice (see the disclaimer above).

If the Founding Pass isn’t what you hoped, email jiaxinxuyago@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase from the email on your account, and we’ll refund it in full — no questions required. Refunds return via Stripe to your original payment method (typically 5–10 business days), and the associated access is removed. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion, but write to us anyway — we’re reasonable.
